As an additional tip one of the biggest trends for mothers of the bride are two piece ensembles. These usually consist of a long dress worn with a short fitted jacket. This can be a great style, because you will have the appropriate amount of coverage for a formal ceremony, but you can also remove the jacket to be comfortable during the reception. 

In deciding for your make up schedule a dry run with your makeup artist at least  two weeks or so before the wedding. This will give you ample time to achieve the perfect look on the big day. Never let the day of the wedding be the first time you try on your makeup from a stranger.
