Best Toys For Babies



When choosing the right toy for your baby you should consider these two things they should be both fun and educational. Many parents are confused when selecting toys for their young babies. But you don’t have to, there are a wide range of toys to choose from that can make your baby squeal with joy and at the same time educate her.

Hand held toys for newborn
For newborns the choices here include hand held toys, tape players/music boxes and unbreakable mirrors among others. With a mirror your baby will probably find her own reflection interesting. While soft books with high-contrast, easy to see patterns can also be quite nice for your baby.

Rattles and Chewing Toys
Lightweight rattles can be fun for 3 to 6 months. Rattles are perfect toys for the first few months of the baby's life. Such toys are usually very colorful and coming in many shapes and sizes. The sounds that rattles make stimulate the baby's senses.

Baby blocks
For ages 6 to 9 Months baby blocks may be good for them. The material used nowadays is plastic that is non-toxic for babies. They come in a brightly colored box with different shaped holes and a handle for an easy carry-anywhere toy. The blocks are colorful as well with cool shapes to go through the holes. This is an effective plaything to teach your little one about shapes and colors.

Push toys
At 9- 12 months your baby will be able to play with push toys that will allow her to use her new found walking skills. There are also shape sorters where she will try and match the object to the hole.
When purchasing toys for your baby one thing is important remember to put her safety as a top priority. Even if a toy looks tremendous, but might be dangerous forget about it. As an additional tip make sure that the material used and the pieces that the toy is made of meet all safety requirements.
